💎 The Hidden Wealth Under Our Feet
Here’s where it gets exciting—Pakistan’s mineral wealth.
I’ve spoken to geologists, researchers, and experts who’ve been studying this for years. They told me something mind-blowing:
Pakistan is potentially among the top 10 mineral-rich countries in the world—some even argue, in the top 5.
And yet, when you search online, Pakistan doesn’t even show up. Why? Because we haven’t even scratched the surface. Massive mineral reserves lie untouched, unprocessed, and unknown.
We’re talking emeralds, copper, lithium, uranium, rubies, gold, rare earth elements—materials that could power solar panels, electric batteries, and future tech.
🤑 Looted in Broad Daylight
Here’s the tragedy.
The military and their cronies have handed over these resources to foreign companies in shady deals. These companies come, dig, load raw minerals into containers, and vanish. They process it abroad, tell us what they “found,” and give us crumbs.
For example, we might get 20 rupees out of a resource worth 1000. They walk away with 980, after value-adding and processing it abroad.
We have no means of verifying what was extracted. This isn’t just robbery—it’s daylight looting with a contract signed by corrupt officials.
🛠️ What Needs to Change
Here’s what I propose. I’ve discussed this with experts, and it makes perfect sense:
- Open tenders only – No backroom deals. Let companies bid transparently.
- On-site processing – All mineral extraction and processing must happen in Pakistan.
- Training local workforce – Give our youth technical training. Within 6 months, they’ll be operating machines, processing minerals, and adding value locally.
- Build infrastructure – Provide security and factory space near the mining areas.
- Fair profit sharing – Revenue should go:
- First to the region where minerals are found.
- Then to the province.
- Lastly to the federal exchequer.
If we do this, we’re not talking about a few million—we’re talking about billions. Jobs will be created in every province. A real economic revolution.
🇨🇳 Why China Invested Billions (and Why the US Cares Now)
China already saw this potential. That’s why they’ve sunk nearly $60 billion into Pakistan. They’ve surveyed our land, mapped out the mineral belts—even in Central Asia and Afghanistan.
Do you think they’ll let the US waltz in now?
Of course not.
But now, the US also wants a piece of the pie. Especially with tensions rising with Iran, America wants strategic cooperation from Pakistan again—just like they got during the Afghan war.
Our minerals aren’t just about money anymore—they’re geopolitical leverage.
🎭 Cosmetic Conferences and Fake Investment Promises
Meanwhile, the current government is busy staging a circus. They’re flying in overseas Pakistanis, giving them hotel stays, food, and fancy events—just to show that investment is coming.
Spoiler alert: It’s not.
These events are purely for optics. Real investors are running away, not lining up.
🔐 Imran Khan: Still the Key to It All
Many believe that the only way to change this game is through legitimate leadership. Salman Akram Raja rightly said that Imran Khan needs to be released—he’s not just a political prisoner, he’s held hostage by stubborn generals.
And it’s not just about him. PTI leaders like Junaid Akbar are openly saying, “We won’t forgive the army for the injustice done to the people.”
The public mood is shifting. People aren’t afraid anymore—not of bullets, not of jail.
🧨 What’s Cooking Between Iran, America & Pakistan
There’s also a global backdrop to all this. The U.S. is threatening Iran again—military action if diplomacy fails.
Guess who’s key to that plan? Yep. Pakistan.
Just like in the Afghanistan war, the U.S. may want bases, routes, or support from Pakistan. That’s why they’re buttering up our current rulers.
🧠 Final Thought: Our Last Hope Is Beneath Our Feet
We’re drowning in debt. Agriculture is crumbling. Tourism is nowhere. Industry is down.
But our minerals could be our lifeline—if managed right.
What we need is a legitimate government, people-first policies, transparency, and local empowerment.
Let’s stop selling our souls for 20 rupees when we can build a billion-rupee future. Let’s not be a nation sitting on gold, begging for aid.
